02 Teleprompter
A teleprompter that follows your voice.
Read an answer out loud and the words keep pace with your voice, not a timer. Skip a phrase and it catches up. Voice sync runs on your machine, and the teleprompter lives inside Promptly's overlay, so it stays out of every screen share.
Free and Base: 3 teleprompter tries · Pro: unlimited
How it works
Get an answer
Ask Promptly during a call, or open any answer it's already given you.
Open the teleprompter
Click Teleprompter under any answer and it opens in Promptly's overlay.
Just talk
The highlight follows the words you say. Ctrl ⇧ ↓ skips ahead, Ctrl ⇧ ↑ goes back, Esc closes.
What makes it different
Paced by speech, not by a scroll speed
Classic teleprompters make you match their speed. Promptly listens and matches yours, so you never race the text or wait for it.
Recovers when you improvise
Skip a phrase or jump ahead, and it finds your place again instead of stalling.
On-device voice sync
Matching your voice to the script runs on your computer. If the on-device model can't start, cloud sync can take over: short audio clips transcribed on our server, never stored. It only runs if you allow it.
Off the record
The teleprompter lives inside Promptly's overlay, which is excluded from screen capture, so it never appears in a share or a recording.
Private by design
Voice sync runs on your device. Cloud sync — short audio clips transcribed on our server, never stored — is only a fallback, and it's off unless you turn it on.
Questions
Does it work with Zoom and Teams?
Yes. The teleprompter is a window on your own screen, so it works alongside any meeting app — and it's hidden from their screen capture.
Do I need an internet connection for voice sync?
Voice sync normally runs on-device; generating the answer you're reading needs a connection, as does cloud sync, the opt-in fallback if the on-device model can't load.
Which plan includes it?
Pro includes the unlimited voice-synced teleprompter. Free includes one try and Base includes three.
